I can't say enough good things about 222 Chophouse. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, upscale, and inviting—perfect for both a date night or a business dinner. The staff was incredibly attentive without being overbearing, and every recommendation they gave was spot-on.

We started with the oyster flight which was perfectly seasoned. For the main course, the filet was cooked to absolute perfection, buttery and tender, with just the right char. My partner had the ribeye and couldn't stop raving about the flavor. The sides, especially the truffle mac and cheese and garlic mashed potatoes, were rich and satisfying.

The wine selection was impressive for a small-town spot, and the cocktails were creative and well-balanced. We finished off with the bread pudding, and honestly, it was the perfect end to an unforgettable meal.

222 Chophouse is exactly what Kinston needed—fine dining with a local soul. We’ll definitely be back!
